American mahjong, also spelled Mah Jongg, is a variant of the Chinese game mahjong. American Mah Jongg is a 14-tile pick and discard came. - Flowers. There are 8 flowers in a set.
- Jokers. There are 8 jokers in a set.
Each type of tile has specific roles and scoring in the game.
